All the power cuts planned for Cumbria this week via postcode

Electricity North West has organised scheduled power cuts across all of Cumbria between Monday, March 8 to Thursday, March 11, with the work carried out meant to ensure further reliability of power in the area.

“We invest millions every year into maintaining the local network,” Electricity North West says.

“This helps us to ensure all areas of the North West region have a safe and secure supply of electricity for the future.

“Sometimes, this requires us to temporarily interrupt your supply so our engineers can work safely.

Here’s the list of where customers will be affected by planned cuts across Cumbria in the following week:

Kendal- March 9

Four customers will be affected, those in postcodes LA9 4LR, LA8 0DU.

Penrith- March 9

Postcode CA10 1NN and it will affect 26 customers.

Carlisle – March 9

Postcode CA6 4EH will be affected along with six customers.

Cockermouth – March 10

Twenty-two customers in postcodes CA13 0PE, CA13 0PA, CA13 0NZ, CA13 0NY, CA13 0NX will be affected by planned cuts.

Appleby-in-Westmorland – March 10

A whopping 37 customers will be affected. Postcodes are CA16 6JP, CA16 6BX, CA16 6BU, CA16 6BT, CA16 6BJ.

Appleby-in-Westmorland – March 10

Postcodes CA16 6DZ, CA16 6BW, CA16 6BU, CA16 6BN, CA16 6BL, CA16 6BJ, CA16 6BH, CA16 6BF will be cut. That’s 170 customers.

Brampton- March 11

Postcodes CA8 7AG, CA8 2LY, CA8 2BU will be cut out, with 17 customers affected.

Wigton – March 11

Four postcodes CA7 8AS, CA7 8AP will be cut and four customers affected.

Kendal – March 11

Three customers will be affected in the LA8 8AX postcode.

Cockermouth – March 11

Two customers in CA13 9XR, CA13 9XJ postcodes will be cut.

Carlisle – March 11

Some 37 customers in postcodes CA5 7JW, CA5 7JQ, CA5 7JL, CA5 7JJ, CA5 7JH will be affected.
