Carlisle boy, 16, who died in a motorbike collision has been named

A 16-year-old boy from Carlisle died yesterday (December 2) evening after being involved in a single motorcycle crash.

The fatal collision took the life of Reuben Price from Borland Avenue who sadly died at the scene of the crash.

Police officers were en-route a call from near the Melbourne Park area but responded to the collision that happened on Holywell Crescent.

Flowers have been laid outside for the teenager at the scene of the collision.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police has said: “A boy who died following a fatal collision involving a single motorcycle on Holywell Crescent, Carlisle yesterday evening has been identified.

“Reuben Price, aged 16, from Borland Avenue, Carlisle sadly died at the scene.

“Officers were in the area due to a call for service at 4:30pm yesterday (Dec 2) in the Melbourne Park area of Carlisle.

“Whilst on route they subsequently responded to a motorbike that was involved in a single vehicle collision on Holywell Crescent in the city.”
