Cumbria pub named among best in UK launches heaty pie nights as weather gets colder

Nina said: ‘’I’ve spent quite a bit of time perfecting and refining some of my favourite pie recipes and developing new ones that I can’t wait to bring out of the oven. And as our regular diners know every pie we serve is freshly made by hand using amazing and brim full of the amazing local ingredients that surround us.

“But that’s not all I’ve also revisited some Asian inspired curry recipes too, taking classic recipes from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Korea, Japan, and India and adding my own twist to each, using delicious local ingredients and carefully chosen herbs and spices to ring the changes and make things interesting.’’
