A Potter and a Painter

A Potter and a Painer. Exhibition by two local West Coast Artists.  Angela Strange Ceramics brings several forms of Raku Japanese pottery, smoke fired pots, porcelain dishes and Chawan Japanese tea bowls.  Angela is hand making the glazes using iron ore pigment.

Helen Bradbury explores the high fells and dales  their mines, and work places to draw directly from them using   graphite  pencil, charcoal and iron ore paint and so uses some of the materials that were vital to the development of our county and its people.
