If you want to learn the subtle art of landscape photography and how to make the best use of your Canon UK cameras, then this is the weekend for you. Rather than just a day, you’ll have a the chance to shoot both sunset and sunrise with David Newton Photography – Photopositive in the stunning Lake District. He’ll cover everything from getting the best out of your cameras to using tripods and filters effectively, to processing and printing. And you’ll go home with at least one print from your images captured during the shoots too.
This workshop takes place over two days. A ticket covers both days. Accommodation is not included, but we will be based at Sunnyside Guest House and have secured a special rate for workshop attendees*
In case having two opportunities to learn from Dave isn’t enough of an incentive, there will also be the latest equipment to borrow from Canon including the EOS R and EOS 5D Mark IV. LEE Filters and a selection of tripods will also be available so you can be sure you’ll be fully kitted out to capture the best of whatever Mother Nature provides.
If this all sounds too good to be true and you’re wondering where the catch is, it’s that spaces are extremely limited. While the Lake District is a big place, we’re keeping the numbers low to ensure you get as much time as possible with Dave and can ask him as many questions as you can think of. Also we want to make sure there’s not a hillside of people jostling for position!
*accommodation is not guaranteed at Sunnyside Guesthouse and will depend on availability
