LancsLive photographer James Maloney took pictures of Cockermouth on two occasions this year. The first was in October during a nasty rain storm and the second was on one of the coldest days of the year in December. Understandably, the stark difference in the weather painted Cockermouth in quite contrasting ways but it also shows how a place can change and adapt through the seasons, changing temperatures and conditions. Take a look for yourselves and scroll through the gallery, to see what beauty can be found, whether the skies are dark and gloomy or blessed with blue and sunshine. Enjoy.
