
The M6 has reopened near Kirkby Lonsdale after a police incident. The carriageway was closed near junction 36.
The nature of the incident has not been confirmed. But the northbound carriageway has reopened after over two hours.

The incident was first reported at 3.50pm.
Traffic monitoring website, INRIX, said: “All traffic being temporarily held due to police incident on M6 Northbound at J36 A590 (Kirkby Lonsdale). Traffic is coping well.”
