The first guided walk in June within the Lake District is one not to be missed. It is The Guided Walk: In the footsteps of Wordsworth.
The walk is in Partnership with Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth museum. From Glenridding to the legendary Aira Force Waterfalls, these are just some of the beautiful attractions you will see.
The walk will he starting from 9:40am at Glenridding, Ullswater information centre. So make sure to get there bright and early.
It is a free event but donations are welcome. There is a speed half price boat fare too with this walk.
The length of the walk is 60km (37 miles).
Total ascent is 120m and the higher point is 200m. It should take up to 4.5 hours to do and it is one of the easiest walks.
