Working sheepdog ‘Jet’ stolen from Wigton kennels

Cumbria police are investigating after a working sheep dog was stolen from its kennels in Wigton.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 1pm and 9pm on Saturday August 15 from a property in Red Dial.

The dog goes by the name ‘Jet’ and was inside a locked building at the time.

Jet is described as having a black, white and tan rough coat with a blue collar.

He is microchipped with a stolen alert on his record.

A spokeperson fro Cumbria police said: “Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 301 of 15 August. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
